Updated October 11, 2026 · Private Windows reporting build
Crash reporting is your choice.
Mike operates The First Oath. Contact [email protected] about reporting data, access, correction, export or deletion. Public release activation is pending.
What you authorize
Automatic crash diagnostics starts off. Enabling it in Campaign settings → Report a problem allows a fresh crash dump to upload to the project's private BugSplat dashboard when the game next starts. This saved choice is bound to the configured destination; an older crash from before opt-in is not automatically sent.
With automatic diagnostics off, Send report authorizes a single manual report. Include latest crash dump starts off each time the panel opens. Checking it includes the newest dump from the last seven days. Close without sending creates no manual report, but any preference change is saved immediately.
Turning automatic diagnostics off cancels active reporting requests and clears unsent reports, including queued manual feedback. Discard unsent reports also cancels requests and clears the queue. Data already received by the service cannot be recalled by these controls; contact us to request deletion.
Data we receive
A report contains a random report ID, creation time, build and environment, Unreal version, CPU/GPU model, game map, checkpoint, save stage, activity, a random session ID and up to 64 recent diagnostic events. Manual reports include your description, limited to 4,000 characters. We use these details to reproduce failures and match the right debugging symbols.
The application does not deliberately add your email address, account ID, full log, screenshot or save file to the reporting payload. Free text and memory may still contain personal information. If you email support, we receive your sender address, message, mail metadata and selected attachments. Avoid secrets and unrelated personal files.
Purpose and recipients
Reports help us investigate bugs, prioritize fixes and verify patches. We do not use this reporting system for advertising or sell report data. HTTPS sends the report to BugSplat for storage and analysis on our behalf. Authorized project maintainers can access the private dashboard. Network services may receive connection metadata such as your IP address.
Read BugSplat's privacy policy for its processing, service providers and disclosure exceptions. Support mail uses Cloudflare Email Routing and the owner's configured mailbox provider. Providers may process data in other countries; no particular storage region is promised here.
These static pages add no analytics, advertising, external fonts or application cookies, and upload no files in the browser. Hosting providers may process request logs. The owner-only preview uses ChatGPT sign-in and its access cookies; that is separate from game reporting consent.
Storage and retention
The local queue is limited to 10 reports and 100 MiB total. Each dump is limited to 8 MiB and a stored report to 16 MiB. Pending reports expire after seven days and are removed at the next queue scan while the game runs. Uploads have at most five attempts. Failed reports remain exportable until expiry.
Local receipts are bounded to 100 entries and 30 days; pruning runs after successful delivery. Original crash folders and exports remain until you delete them. Queue expiry and Discard do not remove those copies. Exported JSON may include an encoded memory dump, description, context and delivery bookkeeping. The local permission token is removed.
The intended $0 BugSplat Free plan advertises one-month retention. The account is currently in its trial; Free activation and effective retention still require verification. Our manual operations policy reviews raw reports and support attachments for deletion within 30 days, keeping only the minimum reproduction facts needed for open bugs and checking provider deletion. Trial data and mailbox attachments do not automatically expire under that policy. Provider backups and legally required records may follow its own policy.
Access, correction, export and deletion
Email bugs@ with the report ID, build and approximate time and what you want accessed, corrected, exported or deleted. No new dump or government ID is required. Reports have no required contact address, so we may need minimal additional information to locate your report and verify the request. We will explain anything we cannot locate or remove.
Close the game before deleting selected local pending, exported or crash files. You do not need to delete saves or settings. Exporting a report does not delete it. Changes to this notice will be dated here; a new recipient requires a new reporting choice in the game.
